New HVAC Installation is a Breeze
Jan 8, 2026

For home owners:
Swapping out your old air ventilation system can be a hard thing to do and in most cases, not an exciting item to change as a homeowner. The glaring downfall will be the price. However, the value of a working heating and cold air conditioning is priceless. When cold or heat is missing, it just feels uncomfortable around the house. It is hard to think, work and relax in those environments.
Plan ahead.
While you may feel like you are stuck with struggling comfort, you can do some research on what will work out best for you. It is a good idea to look at your homes age and think about when its main components were installed or replaced. Just like your vehicle, some maintenance will save you from costly updates. For now, we just want to go over some key takeaways for proper HVAC installation.
Important items
Complete HVAC installation can result in increased energy efficiency by up to 30 percent. Since we now have systems that will provide SEER numbers that will use less energy.
Current installation technologies have been updated and now include insulated components like tape, sealants that will seal your connections and keep the cool or heat in were it is supposed to be.
Systems such as mini split systems, heat pumps, and air conditioning units cater to various heating and cooling preferences; choosing the right one is key for effective climate control in your home.
Most installations are completed within hours to a few days.
Note: Professional installation typically includes setting up the dampers for balanced air flow, connecting refrigerants lines and connecting electrical connections safely and securely.
Site Evaluation:
Evaluating your site is one of the most important steps before purchasing/deciding what unit you may want to purchase. A careful inspection of your homes health to determine the best location to ensure maximum energy efficiency. We will look at room sizes, window location, insulation quality and current ductwork and registers.
During this time, we can assess the current setup for possible upgrades or changes. We will look at the homes characteristics so our techs can tailor the HVAC plan to suit your needs. That may be setting up a mini split, heat pump or upgrading the furnace.
Replacing and insulating:
Demolition:
After inspection, we can now move forward with demolition and uninstalling the components that will need to be replaced. This will be from, furnace, air blower and air blower and ducts if needed. This process will need to be done carefully, as we do not want to create any more work or downtime for the home.
Setting up the HVAC:
Installing the HVAC unit is the next crucial step. Efficient airflow and easy maintenance access is a major factor for positioning. Connecting all the electrical, overflow pan and tight screws will ensure a safe precise task. The outdoor unit will also need to be free of debris and contain free moving air through the condenser coils to work efficiently.
Unit testing:
Once all the connections are made. The units can be powered on and testing electrical and line leaks can begin. Torque tightening is crucial for the lifetime of the refrigerant. At this time, any leak during the year(s) can become very costly. And it will be harder for the unit to keep up with demand. Which means it will need more energy to cool or heat the home.
Clean up:
Once everything is setup and running correctly. The techs can now begin to clean up the areas and remove garbage or debris caused by the installation.
